大孤山露天铁矿,台阶高度12米,坚硬的磁铁矿与花岗岩占多数,属难爆矿岩。为解决爆破震动对矿区周围居民房屋的影响问题,曾先后改齐发爆破为孔内延期排间微差爆破,以及地面延期控制微差爆破。1982年又改用非电毫秒雷管和连结套,实现了无限段的微差控制爆破,可明显改善爆破质量与降震效果。鉴于其网路布设、传爆顺序和国内外矿山有所不同,校本文称之为大孤山起爆顺序。
