The peasants in Pizhou City utilized the spare land between the rows of grapes in the vineyard to plant garlic, summer cabbage and common cabbage. While ensuring the output of grapes, 740kg of garlic, 900kg of summer cabbage and 400kg of common cabbage were added per 667m2. The economic benefits were remarkable.
