In the process of modern East Asian political changes, the New Deal in late Qing Dynasty has always been an important target of media attention in South Korea. There are a lot of related reports on Imperial City News and the Daily Korea Daily, and frequently published well-written commentary. These reports and comments, which deal specifically with all aspects of the New Deal in the late Qing dynasty and its entire process, are still not hard to see the general outline of the New Deal in the late Qing Dynasty. Looking at the reports and reviews of the Imperial City News and the Daily Korea Daily on the New Deal at the end of the Qing dynasty, it can be seen that in the period of the Korean Empire, there was still no objective, rational and positive appraisal of the Chinese media by the Korean press. Both the media and the media in Korea have both the criticism of the political corruption in the Qing Dynasty and the sympathy and expectation of the fate and future of the Qing Dynasty. Concerned about the New Deal in the late Qing Dynasty, the media in South Korea can in a certain sense say that its main purpose is to reflect on South Korea itself. This introspection not only saw the problems of the Korean government and society, but also tried to draw on some extraterritorial experiences and lessons learned in solving these problems. At the same time, it was full of expectation and hope for the rejuvenation of South Korea. Although these did not fundamentally change the fate of South Korea being annexed by Japan, it provided a spiritual nourishment to some extent and provided some confidence and hope for the enlightenment thought in modern Korea.
