The second world war was the watershed of the western imperial narrative shifted from the center of Europe to the center of the United States. The World War II novel “War Situation” and the sequel “War and Memories” by American writer Herman Walker, through the dissemination of power and civilization, Proverbs and Atlanticism and other discourse, as the United States headed by Western culture empire formed an important symbol. For this reason, it is necessary for Chinese scholars pursuing global cultural diversity to dispel and subvert the imperial narratives dispersed in Walker’s creation and post-colonial reconstruction.
