共享的文化观念是人类命运共同体建设的核心,因为只有文化观念才能塑造人相对统一的意识及其行动的价值世界.共享文化成就共同存在.大学是从事人类共享文化建设的学术组织.基于文化学传播的视角,大学助推人类命运共同体建设经历了三个发展阶段:中世纪,大学的知识教育具有人类学象征,塑造了人类普遍存在所依存的人文理性和科学精神;近现代以来,大学不断拓展人文理性的边界,致力于普遍民主科学的文化价值观塑造;新时代,大学经由铸造人类赖以存在的文化意识宇宙,致力于共存共享的文化建设,为打造人类永久的和平和繁荣发展服务.
