Objective: To investigate the effect of quality control loop on reducing the implementation rate of PDA scan leak in children with intravenous infusion. Methods: From January to June 2015, QA activities were carried out during pediatric intravenous infusion in Zhoushan Hospital, Zhejiang Province. Comparing the implementation rate of PDA scanning leak before and after conducting QC activities, calculated the target achievement rate. Results: Compared with that before QA activities, the implementation rate of PDA scan leaks in pediatric IV infusion in Zhoushan Hospital of Zhejiang Province decreased from 29.22% to 10.29% compared with that before QA activities, reaching a target of 113.97% The total PDA scan leak rate after conducting QC activities was significantly lower than that before QA activities (P <0.05). After carrying out the quality control circle activities, the nurses in the circle had a clear improvement in their sense of responsibility, communication and coordination, self-confidence, enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, quality control measures, harmony and team cohesion. Conclusion: During the intravenous infusion of pediatric patients, the conduct of quality control ring is conducive to reducing the implementation of leakage rate of PDA scan, which is conducive to ensuring the safety of infusion.
