超精切削中刀具和被加工材料间的摩擦直接影响切削变形和加工表面质量。金刚石晶体具有明显的各向异性,我们实测了金刚石的摩擦系数,其值为0.06~0.14,随晶面不同和方向不同而异。通过实际的超精切削验证,金刚石刀具采用摩擦系数小的(100)晶面作前面和后面,较常用的(110)晶面可降低切削变形和提高加工表面质量。
Ultra-precision cutting tool and the friction between materials directly affect the cutting deformation and processing of surface quality. Diamond crystal has obvious anisotropy, we measured the diamond friction coefficient, the value of 0.06 ~ 0.14, with the crystal face different and different directions vary. Through the actual superfinishing verification, the diamond tool adopts the (100) crystal face with small friction coefficient as the front and the back. The more common (110) crystal face can reduce the cutting deformation and improve the machined surface quality.
