据报道,2006年美国蜂蜜进口额为1.7亿美元,仍低于2003年的最高值2.076亿美元,与2002年的1.656亿美元基本持平。2005年美国进口蜂蜜价值1.255亿美元,2002年至2004年美国销售的蜂蜜近一半靠进口,到2005年进口蜂蜜占到54%。进口蜂蜜的绝大部分是桶装蜜,用于加工包装。
According to reports, in 2006, the U.S. import of honey was 170 million U.S. dollars, still below the highest level of 207.6 million U.S. dollars in 2003, basically the same level as 165.6 million U.S. dollars in 2002. In 2005, the value of honey imported from the United States was 125.5 million U.S. dollars. Nearly half of the honey sold in the United States from 2002 to 2004 was imported and by 2005 imported honey accounted for 54%. The vast majority of imported honey is bottled honey, used for processing packaging.
