谭恩美是著名的美籍华裔女作家,她的作品触及人的心灵。她的代表作《喜福会》主要讲述的是四对中国移民和她们华裔女儿之间的文化价值观冲突碰撞到最后相互理解的故事。而《接骨师之女》所讲述的是一对美国华裔流散母女与其母女冲突,更多呈现的是女儿对母亲的爱的理解,和对多元文化的思考。本文以文献分析法为指导,谭恩美这两本小说中的中国女性形象的描写入手,为读者呈现在第一代中国移民和他们的华裔子女的形象和文化的冲突和融合。
Amy Tan is a famous Chinese American woman writer, her work touches the human mind. Her masterpiece “The Joy Luck Club” mainly focuses on the story of the collision of four cultural values among Chinese immigrants and their Chinese daughters in the final mutual understanding. However, “the girl of the elder sister” tells the story of a conflict between a Chinese-American descent mother and her mother and daughter, and more of her daughter’s understanding of her mother’s love and her reflections on multiculturalism. This article takes the method of literature analysis as a guide, and describes the Chinese female images in these two novels by Amy Tan, presenting readers with the conflict and integration between the image and culture of the first generation of Chinese immigrants and their Chinese children.
