今年12月2日,是《中华人民共和国国境卫生检疫法》颁布十周年,今年还是经国务院1988年批准改革国境卫生检疫管理体制八年。认真总结在社会主义市场经济条件下,搞好国境卫生检疫工作中所遇到的涉及全局的新矛盾和新问题,正确处理国境卫生检疫工作中若干重大关系,这对于我们学习贯彻邓小平同志建设有中国特色的社会主义理论,落实卫生部“九五”计划和2010年远景目标,迎接全国卫生工作会议的召开,进一步做好国境卫生检疫工作具有重要意义。
December 2 this year marks the tenth anniversary of the enactment of the “Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People’s Republic of China”. This year, it was approved by the State Council in 1988 to reform the frontier health and quarantine administration system for eight years. Conscientiously summed up the new contradictions and issues concerning the overall situation encountered in frontier health and quarantine work under the conditions of a socialist market economy and correctly handle some major relationships in frontier health and quarantine work. This is of great significance to our study and implementation of Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s The theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the implementation of the “95” plan of the Ministry of Health and the long-term goal of 2010, meeting the convening of a national health conference and making further progress in the quarantine inspection of frontier health.
