在国内外汽车运输事业中,随着经济和科学技术的发展,汽车列车起着越来越大的作用。它可以大大降低运输成本,提高汽车的运输效率,又可以实现“户到户”的直达运输,弥补铁路运输的先天不足。为了适应交通运输的需要,上海市汽车修理公司所属培新汽车厂选用第二汽车制造厂生产的东风EQ140型载货汽车底盘改制成平头双排座可翻式驾驶室10吨半挂牵引车。现将改装中一些主要部件的结构特点及使用性能简介如下:
