The new early rice variety “80-18” was selected from the six varieties of warm selection in Xiaojiaofang Agricultural Station of Shaowu City. In 1988, it was appraised by rice regional test in Nanping area and 157,000 mu was planted to promote it, which was identified as the district in 1989 The main varieties of early rice to expand and promote.
