罗伯特·弗罗斯特以清新隽永的文笔和传统诗歌形式创作,以此探索人与自然的辩证关系。但读者很难会想到这样一位积极睿智的诗人,在诗歌中屡屡展现黑暗的镜像。文章从弗罗斯特所处的社会历史背景,个人悲剧性经历和矛盾的世界观探究其“黑暗诗歌”产生的多层原因并阐释弗罗斯特诗歌创作中“黑色”成分的根源。最后得出结论,弗罗斯特的黑暗诗歌是他诗歌世界里不可或缺的部分,不系统研究弗罗斯特的黑暗诗歌则无法全面读懂这位伟大的诗人。
Robert Frost created a fresh and meaningful style of writing and traditional poetry to explore the dialectical relationship between man and nature. However, it is very hard for the reader to think of such a positive and wise poet, often displaying dark images in his poems. The article explores the multi-layer causes of his “dark poetry ” from the social and historical background, individual tragic experience and contradictory world view of Frost and expounds the origin of “black ” in Frost’s poetry creation. Finally, it is concluded that Frost’s dark poetry is an indispensable part of his poetry world. Without the systematic study of Frost’s dark poetry, he can not fully understand this great poet.
