北京市朝阳循环经济产业园始建于2002年5月,主要承担朝阳区固体废弃物无害化处理和综合利用项目的规划、建设和管理。总占地面积4636亩,园区内现有5个设施单位,即:卫生填埋场、焚烧发电厂、医疗垃圾处置厂、餐厨垃圾处理厂、电动汽车充换电站。园区内共有职工520人,建设总投资16亿元,平均每年消纳生活垃圾、餐厨垃圾、医疗垃圾达75万吨。园区现已成为清华大学、北京大学、中国农大及中科院研究生实习基地,是北京市首批循环经济试点单位,也是北京市唯一初 Beijing Chaoyang Recycling Economy Industrial Park was established in May 2002, which mainly undertakes planning, construction and management of harmless treatment and comprehensive utilization of solid waste in Chaoyang District.
