自从19世纪五十年代中期发明人造金刚石以来,金刚石工具制造方法经历了极大的发展。长时间以来,新的金刚石工具生产工艺技术在各个工业领域内得到实施与应用,使得其任务完成得更快、更精确、成本更低。现在的统计数据表明:金刚石磨料的消耗量与1980年的1亿克拉,1990年的3.8亿克拉相比,2000年已达到让人难以想象的上10亿克拉金刚石耗量。在当前新世纪,金刚石工具市场持续快速增长。当前工业金刚石价格的下降使其做为商品,有可能与其他普通磨料相竞争。生产量最大的金刚石工具主要由金属粘结剂的金刚石孕镶工具构成,诸如切割石材与建材的圆盘锯、框架锯、绳锯、薄壁钻以及钻进各种岩石的取芯钻头等。本文的目的是简要概述各种粉末冶金刚石工具的制造方法,判定当前改变金刚石工具设计与配方组成的发展方向,使其价格更低,效率更高。
Since the invention of synthetic diamonds in the mid-1850s, diamond tool manufacturing methods have undergone tremendous growth. For a long time, the new diamond tool manufacturing technology has been implemented and applied in various industrial fields, making its tasks faster, more accurate and less costly. Current statistics show that consumption of diamond abrasives has reached an incredible 1 billion carats of diamond consumption in 2000 compared with 100 million carats in 1980 and 380 million carats in 1990. In the current new century, the diamond tool market continues to grow rapidly. The current drop in industrial diamond prices makes it a commodity, potentially competing with other conventional abrasives. The most productive diamond tools are mainly composed of metal bonded diamond inlay tools such as circular saws for cutting stone and building materials, frame saws, wire saws, thin-walled diamonds, and coring bits drilled into various rocks. The purpose of this article is a brief overview of the various methods of manufacturing diamond powder metallurgy tools to determine the current change in diamond tool design and formulation of the direction of development to make it cheaper and more efficient.
