目的探讨乳腺癌特异基因(BCSG1)mRNA在不同乳腺组织的表达及其与乳腺癌各项临床病理参数的相关性和乳腺癌的预后评估价值。方法随机抽取1999年9月至2002年12月收治的84例女性乳腺疾病患者,其中乳腺癌72例。采用逆转录聚合酶链反应(RTPCR)检测标本BCSG1基因表达,统计分析BCSG1基因表达与乳腺癌各项临床病理参数的相关性;跟踪随访72例乳腺癌患者,随访期4~43个月,作生存分析,确立影响乳腺癌预后的独立因素。结果经RTPCR法检测,BCSG1基因在12例乳腺良性疾病无表达,而在乳腺癌中表达率为361%(26/72),其中Ⅲ、Ⅳ期乳腺癌中表达率高达792%(19/24)。BCSG1基因表达与乳腺癌肿瘤分期(P=0000)和大小(P=0007)正相关。ER(P=0027)和BCSG1(P=0001)为乳腺癌的独立预后参考因素。结论BCSG1是乳腺癌肿瘤标记物之一,其基因表达与乳腺癌的肿瘤分期以及大小相关;BCSG1可能是乳腺癌新的一种独立预后指标。
Objective To investigate the expression of breast cancer specific gene (BCSG1) mRNA in different breast tissues and its correlation with clinicopathologic parameters of breast cancer and the prognostic value of breast cancer. Methods A total of 84 female patients with breast diseases, including 72 cases of breast cancer, were selected from September 1999 to December 2002. The expression of BCSG1 gene was detected by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RTPCR), and the correlation between BCSG1 gene expression and clinicopathological parameters was statistically analyzed. Follow-up 72 patients with breast cancer were followed up for 4 to 43 months Survival analysis to establish an independent factor affecting the prognosis of breast cancer. Results The results of RTPCR showed that the expression of BCSG1 was not found in 12 cases of benign breast diseases, while it was 361% (26/72) in breast cancer. The expression rates of BCSG1 in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ breast cancer were as high as 792% (19/24 ). BCSG1 gene expression was positively correlated with breast cancer staging (P = 0000) and size (P = 0007). ER (P = 0027) and BCSG1 (P = 0001) were independent prognostic factors for breast cancer. Conclusion BCSG1 is one of the markers of breast cancer. The gene expression of BCSG1 is correlated with tumor stage and size of breast cancer. BCSG1 may be a new independent prognostic factor of breast cancer.
