2009年9月28日,“中国新疆·国际胡杨节暨伊吾县首届胡杨节”在伊吾县淖毛湖胡杨林景区隆重启动。自治区旅游局、哈密地委、行署、伊吾县委、县政府领导,疆内外数十家媒体、旅行社及伊吾各界群众参加了启动仪式。仪式中最为动人的是各级领导及群众上千人在数十米长的书有“关爱胡杨,拯救生命”的红幅上签名。 September 28, 2009, “China Xinjiang International Populus Festival and Yiwu County first Populus Festival” in Yiwu County Mangosha Hu Yang Lin scenic start. Autonomous Region Tourism Bureau, Hami Commission, Administrative Office, Iraqi county Party committee, county government leaders, dozens of media inside and outside the country, travel agencies and Iraqi people from all walks of life attended the ceremony.
