党的先进性是我们党的生命所系、力量所在。能否始终保持党的先进性关系到党的生死存亡,关系到中国特色社会主义事业的兴衰成败,关系到国家和民族的前途和命运。我们党只有保持和发扬党的先进性,才能巩固党的执政地位,完成所肩负的历史重任,成为建设有中国特色社会主义的领导核心。
The advanced nature of the party is where our party’s life lies and its strength lies. Whether or not we can always maintain the advanced nature of the party has a bearing on the party’s survival and death, on the success or failure of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and on the future and destiny of our country and nation. Only by maintaining and promoting the advanced nature of the party can our Party consolidate the party’s ruling status and fulfill the historic task it shoulders and become the core of leadership in building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
