In a text,there are many ties used to link the language together.Cohesion and coherence are the two important factors.In order to create the coherence in the discourse,writers and speakers have to use a lot of cohesive devices within clause and between clause complexes,including reference,ellipsis,substitution and lexical cohesion.The analysis of cohesion facilitates the use of language.
