从70年代初至80年代末,匈牙利两大消费类电子产品制造商Videoton及Orion曾主导了整个匈牙利消费电子市场,其中Videoton是东欧地区消费电子市场的主要供应商。1989年匈牙利市场开放后,外商积极抢占市场,并纷纷投资设厂从事装配生产,使当地众多小企业面临强大的竞争压力,不少企业因逐渐失去市场最终沦为其他企业的定牌生产(OEM)厂。
From the early 1970s to the end of the 1980s, Videoton and Orion, Hungary’s two largest consumer electronics manufacturers, once dominated the entire Hungarian consumer electronics market, of which Videoton is a major supplier to the consumer electronics market in Eastern Europe. After the opening of the Hungarian market in 1989, foreign companies actively seized the market and invested in factories for assembly production.
