陈誉教授是我的导师。我敬仰他,不仅仅因为他是我的导师,而且因为他是中国图书馆界的大师。他的精神不仅仅影响了我和我的同学,而且影响着一代代图书情报工作者。陈誉教授是新中国上海图书馆事业的开拓者之一。在他的领导和策划下,1979年上海有了第一个图书馆学高等教育机构——华东师范大学图书馆学系,我荣幸地成为该系第一批图书馆学专业的文学硕士。也是在他的影响下,上海有三所大学相继成立了图书情报学系,填补
Professor Chen Yu is my mentor. I admire him, not only because he is my mentor, but because he is a master of the Chinese library community. His spirit not only affected me and my classmates, but also influenced generations of library and information workers. Professor Chen Yu is one of the trailblazers of the cause of Shanghai New Library in China. Under his leadership and planning, in 1979, Shanghai had the first higher education institution in library science - the library science department of East China Normal University. I was honored to become the first master’s degree of library science in the department. It is also under his influence, Shanghai has three universities have set up a Library and Information Science Department, to fill
