General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in a survey conducted in Jiangsu in December 2014 that on the whole, the industrial structure in Jiangsu is still in the middle and low end of the industrial structure chain. There is much work to be done to promote the industrial structure from low-end to mid-to-high end. General Secretary of the important instructions for the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure in Jiangsu pointed out the way forward. Photovoltaic industry is the most influential and dynamic strategic emerging industries in Jiangsu. Its industrial scale advantages, technological innovation and talent support advantages, after the market temper, more and more prominent.
