20世纪以来,“学院派作家”的群体日益庞大,对其进行研究有助于解读现当代美国文学中的许多重大现象和思潮。本文首先探讨了“学院派作家”面临的三种困境和挑战学院氛围、教学与写作、文学家与批评家和理论家之间的关系,指出“学院派作家”的优势和弊端,并以纽约派诗人及学院派诗人代表肯尼思·科克的诗歌主题为例,对“学院派作家”的群体特点进行了初步探讨。
Since the 20th century, “academic writers” have become increasingly large groups. Studying them can help to interpret many major phenomena and currents of thought in contemporary American literature. This article first discusses the three dilemmas faced by “academic writers” and their challenges to the college atmosphere, teaching and writing, the relationship between writers and critics and theorists, and points out the advantages and disadvantages of “academic writers” On behalf of poet and academic poet on behalf of Kenneth Cork’s poetry as an example, the “academic writer” group characteristics were discussed.
