Oral cavity is the gateway to the human body, is the primary processing of nutrients delivered to the body for an important organ for life activities. If something goes wrong in the mouth, nature will have a certain degree of impact on the whole body’s functioning. Therefore, preventing and eliminating common oral diseases is an important responsibility of all medical workers, especially dental workers. From the several articles published in this issue on the prevention and treatment of oral diseases, it can be seen that the common oral diseases existing in the armed forces are still more common. For example, the incidence of dental caries is over 30% and the periodontal disease is over 25%. Due to deciduous tooth extraction figures are also great. Just looking at these few figures is enough to draw our attention to oral diseases. Oral diseases are so common now that our power is limited. So, is not there any cure for oral diseases? No! This issue is answered in this manuscript. According to Li Chunbin and other comrades, even with cavities filling, tooth extraction, periodontal scaling gingival resection and other surgery, an average of ten days a military doctor can complete a continuous oral prevention and control work. The required equipment is not complicated
