Under the backdrop of the prosperity of the creative industries of cultural media across the country, the traditional media and new media of various languages in Xinjiang are booming. In Xinjiang’s media environment, television can provide indiscriminate audio-visual news and entertainment information to all ethnic groups in multiple languages and play a particularly important role in carrying forward the national culture, delivering the voice of the government and promoting social progress. This article mainly analyzes the development of Uyghur television industry, and puts forward some suggestions according to the existing problems.
