在1980年代以来的“重写文学史”实践中,存在着一个结构性反复的历史脉络,并与现代中国社会思潮的历史与反复密切关联。当然,无论是启蒙话语的反复,还是革命话语的反复,五四都在其中扮演了关键性的角色,其既是主流意识形态建构历史合法性的日常表征,也是在历史转折的危机状况中反复“归来的被压抑者”。五四在“重写文学史”中的不断归来,其实就是以五四运动为症候的现代中国危机的循环往复,只要这个基本问题没有解决,五四就是一个永远走不出的五四,“重写文学史”也只能是一个不断自我反复的历史。
