搞好谷子穗选留种 保证谷子连年丰收

当前,我省各地区都有谷子的当家品种,在当地生产中发挥着重要作用。但是,有了优良品种并不等于年年高产。一个优良品种开始应用于生产时,表现生活力强,整齐一致,因而高产。在一个地区种植几年之后,如不严格田间穗选留种,就会出现长势减退,整齐度降低,谷穗变小,秕粒增多,产量降低等不良现象。这种现象就是品种退化。优种中混入其它品种的种子,就是品种混杂。 At present, all varieties of cereals in various regions of our province play an important role in the local production. However, having a good variety does not mean that it will increase year by year. When a fine variety is used in production, it shows high vitality and neatness and therefore high yield. A few years after planting in a region, without strict selection of spikes in the field, there will be a decline in growth, less uniformity, smaller ears, increased grains, reduced yields and other undesirable phenomena. This phenomenon is the degradation of species. Mixed with other varieties of superior seed, is mixed species.
