一、前言朱家台遗址属湖北省江陵县纪南乡朱集村,位于楚纪南故城的北城垣外,南距纪南城北垣水门(今朱河入纪南城处)约140米。遗址周围是平坦的水田,朱河绕遗址东南入纪南城。遗址本身为一土台,高出周围农田1-3.1米;现为旱地,种有庄稼。土台平面大致呈椭圆形,东南部因近代烧窑取土而失一隅,东西长约210米,南北宽约150米,面积约20000平方米(图一;图版壹,1)。
I. Introduction Zhujiatai site is located in Zhuji Village, Ji’nan Township, Jiangling County, Hubei Province. It is located at Beichengyuan, the hometown of Chuji South, and is about 140 meters to the north gate of Ji’nan City (now Nancheng Branch of Zhu River). The site is surrounded by paddy fields, Zhu River around the southeast into Ji Nancheng. The site itself is a soil station, 1-3.1 meters above the surrounding farmland; now dry land, planted with crops.
