The operating principle of the disk MRF is briefly described. The influence of the change of the inner and outer radius and the disk spacing on the torque transmitted by the MRF clutch is discussed through concrete examples. The relationship between the size of each part and the reluctance is analyzed and summarized. The key factors of the design of the disc MR fluid clutch are analyzed and constructive suggestions are put forward to provide references for the design of the disc MR fluid clutch.
