老剧作家范钧宏、吕瑞明新编的历史剧《锦车使节》,最近由中国京剧院一团上演。它继四团的《燕燕》之后,又一次以崭新的人物形象,崭新的舞台面貌,给京剧艺苑带来一股清新的空气。在我们传统的戏曲中,不乏描写民族关系的戏。但由于历史的偏见,大多是写他们之间的冲突、争战的。象《锦车使节》这样,真实地描写了历史上客观存在的友好的一面,歌颂了为维护与发展这种友好关系的一些大义大勇大智的优秀人物,是比较罕见的。因此,我们感到,《锦车使节》的出现,不但给我们从新的角度展示了一面历史的镜子,使我们能够通过生动的戏剧场面,形象地感受到我国各民族之间传统友好情谊的珍贵,从而得到新的启迪;
