女性参政作为一种复杂的社会历史进程，其发展明显落后于时代。从人类社会演进趋势看，妇女参与国家政治生活是近代以来妇女解放运动追求的主要目标之一，是男女平等程度的重要标准。没有女性的参与，民主政治只能是一句空话。从时代发展趋势看，世界的可持续性发展、人口、环境及和平问题都为妇女广泛参政提供了时代的机遇和挑战。
As a complex process of social history, women’s participation in politics lags far behind the development of their development. From the perspective of the evolution of human society, women’s participation in the political life of the country is one of the major goals pursued by the Women’s Liberation Movement in modern times and an important criterion for the equality between men and women. Without women’s participation, democratic politics can only be empty talk. Judging from the development trend of the times, the sustainable development of the world, population, environment and peace all provide the opportunities and challenges of the times for women to participate in politics in a broad-based manner.
