人体血清中钙磷水平是由调钙素和排磷素共同严密调节的,这两类物质主要作用于肠道、肾脏和骨骼。然而,钙磷的异位沉积却是人体中常见的病理过程。因此,人体需某种机制来阻止上述病理过程,即阻止异位钙化。胎球蛋白A(Fetuin-A)通过形成可溶性矿物质复合物来抑制钙磷的异位沉积,这种可溶性的矿物质被命名为胎球蛋白矿物质混合体或卡尔奇蛋白颗粒。病理性钙化可影响所有的软组织,尤其是血管钙化,然而Fetuin-A在抑制血管钙化方面仍未达成共识。“,”Calcium and phosphate levels in blood are tightly regulated through the concerted action of calciotropic hormones and phosphatonins,mainly acting on the gut,kidneys,and bone.Nevertheless,ectopic deposition of calcium and phosphorus is a common pathological event in human , and some mechanisms are needed to stop the pathologic process.Numerous studies show that fetuin-A inhibit the ectopic deposition by forming soluble mineral complexes,which are termed as fetuin-mineral complex (FMC).Pathological calcifi-cation can affect all of the soft tissue ,particularly,vascular calcification.However,the reported findings in the field of vascular calcification are controversial .
