本文以发展性教师评价理论为指导,系统考虑专门用途英语(ESP,English for Specific Purposes)教师能力与素质要求、工作过程与内容以及教师专业发展需求,提出从教学准备、教学目标、教学内容、教学方法、教学过程、教学评价、师生关系、教学反思、资源开发、专业拓展等十个领域构建ESP教师发展性教学评价指标,并对评价内容和指标进行具体设计。该研究一方面旨在充分地发挥教师教学评价的导向、激励和改进功能,以推动ESP教师教学能力及专业发展;另一方面,为建立高校ESP教师专业发展的评价体系提供实践性参考。
Guided by the theory of developmental teacher appraisal, this paper systematically considers the teachers ’abilities and qualifications, work process and content, as well as teachers’ professional development needs in English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of teaching preparation, teaching objectives, teaching contents, Teaching methods, teaching process, teaching evaluation, teacher-student relationship, teaching reflection, resource development, professional development and other areas to build ESP teacher developmental evaluation indicators, and evaluation of the content and indicators for specific design. On the one hand, this study aims to give full play to the guidance, motivation and improvement of teachers ’teaching evaluation so as to promote ESP teachers’ teaching ability and professional development; on the other hand, it provides a practical reference for establishing the evaluation system of professional development of ESP teachers in colleges and universities.
