孟京辉导演的《恋爱的犀牛》一剧让人看到了中国“先锋戏剧”在商业上的巨大成功,从1999年到现在,该剧已经有了四个版本。本文试图对新版本与之前版本的不同做一些比较。通过分析可以看出,该剧的最大特点在于诗化与狂欢的交杂,以及形式上的不断“做加法”。尽管这种改变有得失,然而,孟京辉在实践中达成了自己关于“人民戏剧”的理想,他的这种努力值得我们肯定。
Meng Jinghui’s “Rhinos in Love” drama saw the great commercial success of China’s “Pioneer Drama”. From 1999 to the present, there are already four editions of the play. This article attempts to make some comparisons between the new version and the previous version. Through the analysis we can see that the most prominent feature of the play lies in the mixture of poetic and carnival, as well as the formal “continuous addition”. Despite the gains and losses of such a change, however, Meng Jinghui reached his own ideal of “people’s theater” in practice, and his efforts worth our confirmation.
