In the study of musical robots, there are more researches on keyboard instruments and stringed instruments, while relatively few studies on wind instruments automatically play robots. Wind instruments are divided into woodwinds and brass instruments. This article introduces the saxophone playing robot in woodwind instruments developed by Japan’s Hosei University and the trumpet automatic playing robot in brass instruments. In wind instruments, the air blown in is the energy of the wind, and the instrument’s air tube resonates to create a distinctive tonal sound.
