“七”体文创作始于西汉,在东汉时期得到了进一步的发展,到魏晋六朝进入了繁荣时期。从枚乘的奠基之作——《七发》开始,傅毅《七激》、崔骃《七依》、张衡《七辩》、曹植《七启》等作品相继出现,逐渐形成了以《七发》为首的一种独立的文体。“七”体的出现,既体现了以“七×”命名、以七件事情为内容、虚构主客二人、以启发为手段、以规谏为宗旨的独特性,但也存在着模拟痕迹较浓、词语晦涩等局限性。
