网络生存性是高速通信网络的重要性能评估指标。该文定量分析了EPON(ethernetpassiveopticalnetwork)接入网的网络生存性,得到网络生存性与破坏强度之间的定量关系,为EPON接入网生存性的预测和评估提供了理论依据。并分析和比较了EPON接入网的在3种备份方式下的生存性,从理论上证明EPON接入网在覆盖范围相同的情况下使用节点光纤备份比使用树干光纤备份具有更好的生存性。在节点个数和分布相同的情况下,使用总线光纤备份则不仅节省光纤而且网络生存性最好。该研究结果可为EPON接入网的设计提供参考。
Network survivability is an important indicator of the performance of high-speed communications networks. This paper quantitatively analyzes the network survivability of EPON access network and obtains the quantitative relationship between network survivability and destruction strength, which provides a theoretical basis for the prediction and evaluation of the survivability of EPON access network. And analyzes and compares the survivability of the EPON access network in three kinds of backup modes. It is theoretically proved that using the optical fiber backup of the EPON access network has better survivability than using the trunk optical fiber backup in the same coverage area . In the case of the same number of nodes and distribution, the use of bus optical fiber backup will not only save fiber but also the best network survivability. The results of this study can provide reference for the design of EPON access network.
