2004年平遥古城墙南门的局部垮塌,使得平遥古城墙的安全性、可靠性成为人们关注的焦点。在查明平遥古城墙存在的损伤情况以及分析损伤产生原因的基础上,针对古城墙可能出现的各种实际工况,建立计算模型进行了稳定性验算分析,探讨了保证城墙安全性及防止进一步损伤的方法,为古城墙的维修加固技术决策和编制保护规划提供了科学的依据。
