园林绿化是栽种植物以改善园林环境的活动,园林绿化作为园林生态系统中的还原组织园林生态系统具有受到外来干扰和破坏而恢复原状的能力,就是通常所说的园林生态系统的还原功能。园林生态系统具有还原功能的主要原因是由于园林中绿化生态环境的作用。对园林绿化生态环境的研究就是要充分利用园林绿化生态环境使园林生态系统具有还原功能,能够改善园林居民生活环境质量这一重要性质。
