6月27日,自云南临沧捐助完毕后,“董妈妈”董淑贞一行不顾舟车劳顿,又乘坐飞机到达湖北,驱车前往长阳贺家坪镇继续播撒爱心,为80名困难学生带去助学金4万元(人民币,下同),向贺家坪村的2个贫困学生家庭资助了1000元现金,以及其他生活物资。这是“董妈妈”首次到贺家坪镇。自2011年开始,董淑贞通过湖北省台联副会长兼秘书长罗鹰牵线搭桥,3年来,曾多次到访通城县,看望慰问困难学生。自2015年开始,董淑贞的捐赠转到长阳。董淑贞说,在这几年的捐赠中,发现中国大陆越来越重
