The “superconducting rock sample magnetometer” jointly developed by our school and China Institute of Metrology passed the appraisal in June this year. The instrument is based on the superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) as the sensing element for rock sample or other sample weak magnetic measuring device. Mainly for rock magnetism, paleomagnetism and other weak magnetic measurement services. As the measurement technology is the highest magnetic detection sensitivity of technology, the domestic prototype, and the urgent need of various departments of the national economy, so the results of this research to solve the original
