我的造型观念大致有两个轴心组成。一是纵向,另一是横向,并以这两个方向为出发点,来思考造型世界。两者既相对独立又相互保持着紧密联系,自始至终地以创作一种和谐、崭新的造型世界为理想目标。所谓纵与横不仅单指特定的方向,还带有观念性意味的概念范畴。 纵是指以事物或形态的积累或堆积来作为思考的行为途径。由于受重力的影响,并由此出发获得解放,具有建设性可能的方向发展来思考造型问题,是一种以数理的科学精神为根基的形态或事物,称之为垂直思考或纵向思维。
