Here’s a new UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) based on the idea of serial-parallel processing. Unlike traditional series-parallel circuits, transformers in traditional circuits regulate the source voltage; however, this new approach allows the supply voltage to be regulated without using a series transformer. It is also efficient, not only small in size and weight, but also has improved conversion efficiency.
