I have noticed her from a group of reporters who came to Hong Kong to interview the “two sessions” - Zeng Huiyan, holding a camera, a hurried pace, a smiling smile. When Deng met with Hong Kong and Macao reporters, I learned that she was a reporter for the Hong Kong Express. In the 1983 competition organized by the Hong Kong Press Association (Note), she won the Best Reporter in the Chinese Language Group, Best feature author, best general news writing three awards. She has no tertiary education, halfway home, a 28-year-old woman struggling in the fierce competition in Hong Kong 56 newspapers to win the victory, how hard!
