古有花木兰替父从军,今有女民兵戍守边防。新疆生产建设兵团农九师孙龙珍民兵班的一茬茬女民兵,在边防线上扎根安家、爱国戍边,被人们誉为戍边“花木兰”。该民兵班先后被全国妇联和自治区妇联表彰为“三八红旗先进单位”,多次被新疆维吾尔自治区、新疆军区表彰为民兵预备役工作先进单位、边防工作先进单位,3次荣立集体三等功。卫国戍边做模范 1969年6月10日,新疆生产建设兵团农九师161团女民兵孙龙珍在卫国戍边中光荣牺牲,献出了年轻的生命。如今,35个春秋过去了,孙龙珍民兵班换了6任班长,先后有96名女民兵在这里戍守边防。一茬茬女民兵继承孙龙珍精神,在西部边陲演绎
