人类肥胖是遗传、环境和饮食等因素综合作用的结果。遗传性肥胖主要是多基因协同作用的结果。对人群进行基因多态性筛选，发现肥胖的易感基因已成为当前肥胖研究的热点。目前己发现的与肥胖相关的易感基因从功能上主要分为3类：影响能量摄入的基因、影响能量消耗的基因、影响脂肪细胞储存脂肪的基因等。
