In the past ten years, we, the majority of Chinese language teaching staff, have explored and experimented on the teaching reform of Chinese language and achieved certain results. However, the reforms of the past have remained in the temptation stage and have not yet been carried out from the height of the overall reform. Therefore, there is a situation in which language teaching does not adapt to the talents needed for cultivating socialist modernization. Why does this happen? Because the Outline (Draft) has corrected the set of practices that used to be extremely “left” in the past, there are still some deficiencies in some aspects. For example, the Outline (Draft) used to emphasize the use of language in the past.
