Contact between the outer membrane of the capillaries and the outer ciliated cells has been reported in the literature, and its relationship with the inner hair cells of the static cilia is still controversial. However, it is presently believed that there is no contact between the guinea pig’s captive membrane and the inner hair cells, and that glycerol is used to confirm endolymphatic hydrops and temporarily improve low-frequency hearing loss. It is generally believed that the main factor in the improvement of hearing after using glycerol is the reduction of the endolymphatic volume. The experiment observed the use of glycerol after buccal and aqueous ear and untreated control ear cap membrane and hair cells.
