British writer Irvine Welsh’s novel “Guess the Train” was introduced to China on the basis of “whose youth is not flowing into a river and dedicated to fallen Chinese young people!” The great works of the year are catering to the aesthetic taste and psychological requirements of a generation born in China after the 1960s.
