数学和物理、化学同属于自然科学,然而数学另有自己的特点.物理、化学都没有初等高等之分,从中学到大学没有分界的鸿沟;而学习数学却不能不分两步走.中学讲初等数学,侧重在具体实用.大学里的高等数学,内容丰富,概括宽阔,立论抽象,应用广泛.由于数学学科的这种特点,往往使得中学里很少利用高等数学的内容、思想、观点和方法来指导教学,又使许多的大学新生用初等数学的学习态度去对待高等数学,以致不能适应新的学习任务甚至造成学习低效.近几年来,我在中学数学教学中,根据学生的特点,注意加强高等数学的内容、思想、观点、方法和中学数学的联系,使教学活动生动活泼,取得了较好的教学效果.具体做法是:
